Defiant ladies soak up pressure

Ladies 3s travelled to league leaders Bishops Stortford.
By half time the score was all square at 0-0 soaking up the pressure that was coming there way. Chris Harris having a magnificent game as a stalwart for any Bishops player coming her way.

A great achievement by S&S considering there were some unfathomable decisions being made, much to the bewilderment of both teams?! Each and every player fought for the ball, passed superbly. The team really gelling well. The opposition growing more and more frustrated, throwing everything at S&S, but they held fast with the defence defiantly clearing every attempt on their goal.
Five minutes to go and there was an inexplicable, baffling awarding of a short corners against S&S. A scramble in the D resulted in a jammy goal for Bishop Storford. Final result 1-0. This was an amazing performance by the 3s, who really deserved a draw, but had to succumb to forces working against them.
