Under 10's secure victory in dying seconds

The U10s were next in the thick of the action at Bedford. They were also undefeated in their group and played absolutely amazingly. The team really started to gel - Phoebe and Alex were so strong in defence, always tracking back and putting in some brilliant tackles and feeding the ball to Molly, Harry and Bertie who all worked tirelessly in midfield and showed some fabulous skill in taking people on and threading balls through to Hannah and Sam upfront who were always in good positions and worked really hard creating opportunities and defending well from the front.

We faced Cambridge in a tightly contested final which could have gone either way. We had several chances saved as did they until in the final few minutes Harry scored on his reverse to make it 1-0. A special mention to Hattie, who played in goal for us and made several great saves during the day but crucially those in the final including one in the dying seconds of the game to seal victory for us!
It was a real team effort today and so brilliant to watch them all working so hard for each other. Well done team you were all awesome. ?
