U'12's picked up the batton

The u12s picked up the baton from the u8s and u10s for the afternoon session at Luton HC junior tournament. They played really well, winning their first two games (1-0, 3-0), drawing the third (1-1) then losing then fourth (0-1). Making their debut for the team, Tom D and Ollie A both scored; not to be outdone Tom J scored on the reverse stick and Robert scored two. Emma and Phoebe worked tirelessly in mid field and Ollie M, Miles and Sam (GK) all worked hard to keep the goals out. The team came second in their pool, losing to letchworth in the semis but then went on to win third place in dramatic fashion against Luton with penalty shuffles! MoM as chosen by the players was shared between Emma and Robert, whilst the coaches awarded their MoM to Emma.

The coaches are all really proud of how well they've come on this season, and are sure they'll do just as well if not better at Leighton Buzzard next week!
