The famous 4's match reports are back

Men’s 4s drew 1-1 with Stevenage 4s in an enjoyable encounter at Sandy.

A goal by Zach Christodoulou in the first half after an excellent passing move with Alistair ‘HP’ Wood saw Sandy take the lead. Jack Prothero made several leading runs to also cause problems in the Stevenage ranks.

At the other end Tony pulled off a string of solid saves and with Danny Wilson Hall managed the defence well with Lewis Barden also have a strong half.

Second half everyone clearly tired , Paul Barden did well to deputise for the missing Darran France who was absent with a back injury/getting old ? Stevenage equalised with a solid strike as Shefford struggled to clear their lines in the final ten minutes.

A good competitive game to end the preseason on a positive note. Thanks to Gina Kelly and Jade Gravell for umpiring.
