Shefford & Sandy Ladies 3 faced Enigma in their penultimate fixture of the season. S&S started strong piling pressure the on Enigma. Scarlett Howman opened up the scoring blasting the ball past the keeper. Going into the second half the team were reminded how crucial to their battle for promotion a win was. The team stepped up and increased their lead when Hannah Woodhouse managed to find the back of the net. The S&S defence held strong and were rarely troubled , enabling the team to press hard. The third goal was a scorcher when Caitlin Bradshaw launched the ball from a tight angle past a baffled Enigma defence. A decisive 3-0 win for S&S keeps them in the running for promotion. One more match, one more win and then other results will determine whether S&S 3s go up or not. It’s going to be close!
