Pace + Purpose = points on the table!!!

Ladies 3s beat Hertford 3s 2-1. S&S had a real passion for a win today and started the game with pace and purpose. The strong defence dealt calmly with any attempts on goal. S&S opened the scoring from a short corner conversion from Denise Alexander. Hertford struck back with a goal just minutes before half time time. A constructive team talk from Steven Ashdown advised the ladies to continue to pressure the Hertford defence and hassle them at every chance. It worked and S&S scored their second goal with Jo Hare beating the struggling Hertford keeper. Some superb reaction saves from Casey Elsby ensured the win for the team and earned her Girlie of the Game.
