On a cold drizzly morning, the ladies decided to begin the mornings proceedings by completing the latest craze - the mannequin challenge. Maybe it was this static movement as the warm up that led to a quite often static performance in the 70 minutes.
Shefford started well with most of the play, but then Chiltern arrived in the game and it was a hard fought game with most of the play being dominated in the middle of the pitch with Beatie, Harding and Shepard Roberts tirelessly working the midfield. which led to S&S favoring trying to play down the middle and the right and often forgetting the left side.
With some changes in defence, which may have unsettled the team for a moment, Chiltern slotted home a goal on the break whilst still coming to grips with the changes.
Both sides were not without chance and was proving to be quite a fair and friendly game.
A penalty flick awarded to Sheffford but sadly was not converted, it was beginning to look like luck was not on our side today and that it was going to play out as a loss, but never a team to roll over; with 5 minutes to go Shefford and Sandy were awarded a short corner, with Jo Hare putting home a top of the D strike to level the game in a mid to top of the table clash.
