Narrow win

The ladies travelled away to Hertford for a late afternoon pushback. With a couple of wins behind them now it was beginning to feel and look more positive.

The S&S ladies started off in magnificent form, pushing the ball around the park stamping there authroity to the very young,fit and energetic Hertford team. It began to even out and much play was in the middle of the park but with S&S just having the upper hand.

Hertford were dangerous on the break with there speed, but with Casey in goal making some amazing saves; Hertford were kept at bay and Casey starting to look like she could give Maddie Hinch a run for her money!

It was beginning to look like nether team could put the ball in the net, until Wendy Delin the scorer slotting it past the keeper with about 7 minutes to go.

Home match ahead with another hope of getting further points on the table.
