Double header weekend

Today was the final fixture of the season for the Ladies 3s. Their opponents were St Albans who had previously beaten S&S a few weeks ago. Having played yesterday as well, S&S were tired and conceded an early goal in the first half to the predominately young St Albans side. They regrouped after half time (a good team talk from Gully) and started the onslaught to turn the game around. Wave after wave of attacks brought about 3 goals for S&S! The defence managed the opposition with ease and there was a fabulous save from Casey Elsby! Final score 3-1 S&S! Another solid team performance from the 3s, which achieves final position of fourth in Division 3. Not a bad result after gaining promotion last season. Goal scorers: Scarlett Howman (top scorer for the 3s),Lindsay Cook (2), Girlies of the Game - all the team!! Thank you from the team to everyone who played, all the umpires, supporters and coaches.
