After last week’s disappointing draw captain Gravell decided to revamp the formation. And from the outset S&S dominated in all areas of the pitch. Many chances were created but were thwarted by some savvy saves from the Harpenden keeper. Despite all the dominance it was still a disappointing 0-0 at halftime. In the second S&S threw caution aside, and with a slightly unbalanced formation Gravell junior grabbed the first goal. It wasn’t long before Freya Bradshaw scored from a great strike at the top of the D. Green hit the post and missed an open goal but luckily redeemed herself by setting up Gravell’s second and S&S’s third. Thanks to Keeper Roberts who didn’t touch the ball in the whole match, her mere presence was obviously enough to frighten the opposition! The defence had a very quiet afternoon, giving away no short corners all game. S&S host Hertford at home next week. GoG went to Grace Gravell.
