The Mens 1s completed what was a fairly routine win in the end. S & S on the scorecard early Chris Fell producing an excellent reverse stick finish, this was soon followed by a scrambled effort that Elliot Jones got the final touch on. S & S then took their foot off the pedal a bit & allowed Norwich back into the game, which they took advantage of by pulling a goal back. The rest of the half was dominated by S & S in terms of possession although Norwich did have a couple of chances.

The early part of the second half followed the pattern of the latter part of the first, about halfway through the half though Jakob Ooms glance managed to find its way over the line. After this S & S did not look back, their fourth goal was a sublimely worked team effort, Fell providing the final pass for Jones to glance home. Four soon became five, Liam Stevens producing a lightning bolt finish that left the Norwich goalkeeper nailed to the spot.

So five from five and with Wapping losing the Mens 1s went to the top of East Division 1. Next week the 1s travel to the Olympic Park to play fellow challengers East London 1s.
