S&S 0 Havering 3
Experienced Havering take the points.
S&S went into the game against a few ‘old’ familiar faces in what was a competitive but fair contest.
With the first 50 minutes being a stale mate, S&S really should of been ahead and again would rue missed opportunities. An open goal missed, two one on ones normally would result in our young forwards finding the net. But it was Havering who opened the scoring with a back post tap in after some good work from their ageing forward!
S&S then played out the last 15 minutes with 10 men as they picked up cards for various reasons. A week on we are still not sure why!
Havering made the man advantage pay and demonstrated why they have been a strong Prem B/Prem A side for several years and controlled the game and scored twice more.
This was good for our young inexperienced side to see and hopefully learn from.
