Lots of S&S members (young, old and all those in between ;0) were down watching the games, supporting the English girls (and I'm sure a few others!). Many had the opportunity to meet some of the players and coaches whilst soaking up the atmosphere. Just enjoying hockey and I'm sure all eager to start again in September.

After 2 weeks of spectacular games saw the Dutch crowned the gold medalists, the Irish taking Silver and the Spanish the Bronze.

One of Shefford &Sandys juniors, Jack went to see 2 matches, Belgium vs Spain and Argentina vs New Zealand. He loved every minute of it and was amazed at the skill and fast pace of the game. He even managed to get a new hockey stick and astros whilst he was there. He cant wait to be back at training in September. #HWC2018.
