What a marvellous home tournament this morning. The amazing U12’s showed how they’ve massively developed coming through the ranks. With the Sarah the cat in goal, with only conceeding two goals and some great kicks. Olivia and KK at the back, no team was getting through. Harry and Bertie were the engines in midfield tackling back and putting in loads of crosses for the forward to pick up on, as well as chipping in with goals. Oli getting on the ends of crosses for goals. Abi and Alicia to score their first goals of the tournament. Alicia in the final! No losses for the u12 and winning 2-0 in the final to take the gold. A great team effort and a massive positive for the future of Shefford. A massive thanks to all the parents cheering on the teams and our helpers Caz Bradshaw on the desk, Pete Bradshaw, Claire, Freya and Caitlin, Chris Joannou for umpiring and Hannah Bartram for keeping time.
